Kallie George has written numerous acclaimed books for children, including I Hear You, Forest, The Secret Fawn, as well as The Magical Animal Adoption Agency series, The Heartwood Hotel series, and Wings of Olympus, and her latest chapter book, Crimson Twill, Witch in the City. She has also taught writing workshops for children and adults alike. She grew up on the Sunshine Coast in BC, where she spent her days roaming the forests, listening to them, and playing. Now, she and her husband have built a house in the woods, so that her son can do the same.
