Job Description

Chiropractors diagnose and treat problems with the spine, nerves, bones, and muscles.

Working as a chiropractor, your duties may include:

  • recording patients’ health histories and performing physical exams
  • identifying nervous system- and muscle-related disorders
  • treating patients with manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy and electrical stimulation
  • advising patients about helpful exercises and stretches and providing lifestyle and nutrition information
  • referring patients to other health-care providers
