Qualifications

Chiropractor is a regulated profession in British Columbia

In British Columbia, registration with the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) is mandatory.   Registration requires graduation from a recognized chiropractic education program  and successfully completing the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board examinations. Once licensed, you must meet minimum continuing education standards every two years.

Internationally Trained Chiropractors

If your qualifications are recognized by the College of Chiropractors of BC, you will not need significant additional training, experience or assessment to work in BC.

Chiropractors who trained outside of Canada and have never received certification from a Canadian jurisdiction will likely need a full assessment of your qualifications.
