Notice to Patrons Regarding Poster/Flyer Distribution Service
The Vancouver Public Library will distribute posters, flyers, and brochures for non-profit organizations providing the material is acceptable for posting or distribution and providing the event is held in Vancouver or the newspaper is produced in Vancouver.

Posters
All posters and materials intended for display can be dropped off at the Level 2 Information Desk.
Individuals/Organizations wishing to circulate posters/handouts:
- Fifteen of our locations (14 branches and Central) receive copies of posters and handouts; we will accept 15 copies of posters.
- Posters should not be rolled.
- Multiple copies of handouts must be packaged into 14 individual parcels of 25 each for the branches and 1 parcel of 50 for Central; extras will be discarded.
- Posters/flyers must be bundled before they are delivered to the library; materials cannot be bundled at the information desk.
- The Library does not supply materials (elastics, paperclips, etc.) to prepare posters/flyers for distribution.
Posters, handouts, etc. which advertise the date of an event must be deposited no less than two weeks prior to the date of the advertised event.
We do not guarantee materials will be posted in the Branches. Given space limitations in the Branches, materials are posted at the discretion of the Branch Head.
Branches accepting posters and handouts are: Britannia, Carnegie, Champlain Heights, Collingwood, Central Library, Dunbar, Fraserview, Hastings, Joe Fortes, Kerrisdale, Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant, Renfrew, South Hill, West Point Grey.
Community Newspapers
Branches accepting community newspapers distributed from Central Library are: Britannia, Champlain Heights, Collingwood, Joe Fortes, Kerrisdale, Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant and Renfrew.
Distributors may drop off their newspapers to shipping for bulk distribution to these 7 branches. Publications must be organised into bundles of no more than 25 per branch.
