Vancouver Public Library's New West Point Grey Branch Opens June 27
VANCOUVER, B.C. – Vancouver Public Library’s new West Point Grey neighbourhood branch, located at 4566 West 10th Avenue, will open its doors to the community on Tuesday, June 27 at 9:30 a.m.
Approximately one block west of its previous location, the new branch offers library users improved accessibility; more spaces to relax, study and enjoy the collection; and more programming space for children, teens and adults.
The 5,263-square-foot library includes dedicated children’s and teen areas; public computers and Wi-Fi; collections of books, DVDs and magazines for children, teens and adults, an Indigenous Collection; reading materials in Chinese and French; and a meeting room that can be booked by the community.
Library services and programs include programs for babies, toddlers, children and youth as well as outreach programs in the community.
Branch hours are: Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m.
