Pat Graham Reading Room

A glass-walled reading room with garden and city views, the Pat Graham Reading Room on Level 8 is a sanctuary for visitors seeking a quiet space for reading, study and reflection. With a combination of well-lit desks and comfortable reading chairs, it accommodates up to 60 people. The Kermani Family Garden, an enclosed "pocket garden," can be viewed from the reading room.

About the Donor

Pat Graham was a patron who appreciated the services the library offered to its citizens. When she became unable to leave her home, VPL’s Accessible Services team delivered a box of books to her on a monthly basis. Pat enjoyed the quiet and solace that time with a good book afforded and, thanks to her generosity, this reading room will provide a sanctuary for others to do the same.
