Joshua is the Director of Operations at Downtown Van, the local business improvement association that oversees 90 blocks of downtown Vancouver. In his current role, Joshua oversees critical programs in community safety, communications, finance, and human resources. He is proud to work for an organization that emphasizes the importance of the public realm and accessibility. His professional journey began in Communications for a fashion brand in London, England, before he transitioned to the non-profit sector in Vancouver. Joshua Davidson brings a passion for community engagement and a lifelong love of libraries to his role as a trustee of the Vancouver Public Library. With a degree in English Literature from the University of Lincoln in the UK, Joshua is an avid reader who enjoys exploring the world of fiction. Having lived in four countries, he has experienced diverse library systems and has been a member of a library in each place he has called home.
