Kai Cheng Thom is a writer and spoken word performer who works in many genres. She has been featured in The New York Times and Teen Vogue, among other platforms. Her first novel, Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars, which is about an all-trans girl gang, was featured in Emma Watson's feminist book club. Kai Cheng has also written two children's picture books, an essay collection, and two poetry collections. When she's not writing or working as a mediator, Kai Cheng likes to make lasagna and watch fantasy TV.
