Rawi Hage’s first novel, De Niro's Game, won the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the McAuslan First Book Prize and the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction and has been translated into 29 languages. His second novel, Cockroach, was published to similar critical acclaim and his third novel, Carnival, won the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize. His essays, articles and fiction have been published in Granta, Jouvert, Tin House, Literary Review of Canada, The Walrus and McSweeny's.
