Wiebe is no mystery to the Vancouver writing scene. His first novel, Last of the Independents, won an Arthur Ellis award from the Crime Writers of Canada in 2012 and a Kobo Emerging Writer Prize for mystery in 2015. His 2016 novel, Invisible Dead, was released in June as the first in his Wakeland book series.
