Suzannah Showler (she/her) is the author of two collections of poetry (Thing Is and Failure to Thrive), a book of cultural criticism (Most Dramatic Ever), and a novel (Quality Time). You can read her writing in The New York Times Magazine, Harper’s, Slate, The Walrus, and elsewhere. She teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing at the University of King’s College and is the poetry editor for Maisonneuve. She lives in East Van with her family.
