BiblioBike

A Vancouver Public Library worker reads a book to children and their caregivers in a park-like setting.

The BiblioBike is an electric cargo trike that brings the Vancouver Public Library to you! Get a library card, check out a book, explore VPL’s digital collections, and more.

The BiblioBike will be hitting the streets of Vancouver between May and September to visit community festivals, farmers’ markets, and other events, weather permitting. Check out the BiblioBike calendar to find an upcoming event near you.

  • The BiblioBike was custom built by Icicle Tricycles and launched in Summer 2022
  • Funding for the BiblioBike was generously provided by Terry Salman
  • The bike’s dimensions are 34” wide by 86” long
