Get Your Book in the Library

Kids in Grades K – 7 can drop by participating branches anytime to write and illustrate their own book and we’ll make it available for other kids to read in the library!

Upcoming Events

  • Drop in for independent playtime with your children aged 5 and under and a chance to connect with other families. Explore library books and toys in this casual self-led session. For ages 0 – 18 months.

  • Children can practice read-aloud skills in 15-minute, one-on-one sessions with Blue the therapy dog and her human companion. Parents and caregivers should be present during the program. Blue loves hearing stories from neighbourhood kids!
