Our writing and book clubs meet in person at a branch, or virtually over Zoom.

Can’t find a Book Club that matches your schedule? Start your own!  Gather some kids, borrow a VPL Book Club Kit with any regular library card, and check out our How to Run Club Guide to get started.

Tween Book Club

Discover new books and connect with other kids. Fantasy, adventure, laugh-out-loud books and graphic novels - each month has a different focus. There will be time to share book recommendations! For Grades 4-7.

Write Now

Kids, it is time to start writing and thinking creatively! Our fun writing activities will have you writing stories and poetry in no time. These programs are appropriate for both advanced writers and beginners. For Grades 3-7.
