Pink Shirt Day Resources for Young People

A child smiles at the camera. The child has long blonde hair and is wearing rainbow facepaint and a pink shirt.

Pink Shirt Day started in 2007 when 2 high school students in Nova Scotia organized a walk-out at their school. During the protest, students wore pink shirts to support someone who was being bullied for wearing pink. Since then Pink Shirt Day has grown and spread to countries all over the world! We recognize Pink Shirt Day on the last Wednesday of February every year.

On February 26th let’s let kindness grow and wear pink to let everyone know that we are standing up together against bullying.
