If I had a Gryphon

 If I had a gryphon,
I’d love each flashing feather.

But she needs flying EVERY day,
Regardless of the weather.

If I Had A Gryphon is Vikki VanSickle’s first picture book, and was shortlisted for the Blue Spruce Award, among others. The story grew out of an idea she had observing storytime at The Flying Dragon Bookshop, where she worked after attending UBC. She now works and writes in Toronto, Ontario.

Cale Atkinson is an illustrator/writer/animator currently residing in Kelowna, BC with his family. Cale has worked on numerous illustration projects, as well as animated shorts, television, and games. His work can be found in children’s books such as Where Oliver Fits, which he also wrote.
