Julie Lawson spent 18 years as an elementary school teacher before becoming a full-time author in 1991. The subjects of her books range from ghosts and Chinese dragons, to fishing adventures, and she is a contributor for the historical fiction series Dear Canada. She lives in Victoria, B.C.
Paul Mombourquette is an award-winning children’s book illustrator. He has illustrated several books including Fog Cat and Emma and the Silk Train. Paul is a computer animator and works for Disney Interactive Studio. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
