When, in pursuit of a sandwich, goofy, lovable Stanley and his friends get swept out to sea, they embark on a rollicking adventure to find the “end of outside”. Humorously told from the dogs’ point of view, this is a great read-aloud for children and their adults.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Linda Bailey now lives by the sea in Vancouver. She began writing children’s books when her two daughters were young, and has now written more than twenty books.
Bill Slavin lives in an old farmhouse in Millbrook, Ontario. His desire to draw for a living was fueled by winning $25 in a poster competition in the third grade. He has since illustrated many dozens of children’s books, including the Stanley series.
