BuildForce Canada (the Canadian Construction Sector Council) predicts the construction sector will require 27,630 workers in British Columbia in the next 5 years. Many of these jobs are due to retirements.

JobBank Canada forecasts that the employment outlook will be fair for Carpenters and limited for Cabinetmakers in British Columbia for the 2021-2023 period.
