Libraries
Libraries collect published materials such as directories and newspapers. In some cases, there are online catalogues that you can use to search a library's holdings. It may also be possible to send a query, or to interact with staff through live-chat reference services. Sometimes, materials owned by another library can be borrowed through interlibrary loan. Inquire at your local library. For assistance with in-depth research, some libraries offer fee-based services.
The holdings of many Canadian libraries can be searched through Library and Archives Canada's Voilà database.
You can also use the Canadian Library Directory to identify libraries of all kinds across Canada. The website includes links to online catalogues, websites, and other information.
