Mathematics Textbooks for B.C. Secondary Schools

Introduction

The purpose of this guide is to highlight VPL's collection of high school mathematics materials. This includes listing the print textbooks for the Mathematics 8 and 9 courses, as well as the Principles of Mathematics 10, 11, and 12 courses as approved by the British Columbia Ministry of Education.

The textbook collection is in high demand. Textbooks may be reserved, but there is often a long waiting list. The Central Branch carries reference and Fast Read copies of many titles.

To find out which books are currently available in the library, or to request books, check the Library Catalogue or ask for assistance at the Information Desk.

This site provides quizzes, worksheets and other useful links for algebra students.

The Vancouver Community College Bookstore, at the Broadway campus, has a selection of high school textbooks in stock. They may also be able to order books that are not in stock from some publishers. The Vancouver School Board does not sell textbooks.
