Our catalogue
You can search by keywords, title, author, subject & more. The default search is a "Keyword" search (a significant or descriptive word or words, for example "volcanoes"), but you can also search by title, author, and subject. The library has a vast collection of books, eBooks and audiobooks that will help you find just the right information to make your project a success. We also have a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals who can guide you through the resources.

  • An archival collection of arts magazines, with subjects that span the worlds of architecture, crafting, design, fine arts, and photography.

  • CBCA is a Canadian-focused database that offers access to newspapers, magazines, scholarly journals and reference sources. *Also suitable for research at the elementary, high school and undergraduate levels.

  • Full-text access to over 500 BC and major Canadian daily newspapers. Some titles go back as far as the 1970s.

  • NOTE: this online resource will be discontinued as of December 31, 2024.


    A database designed to assist researchers in understanding the full scope of controversial subjects, containing resources that present diverse perspectives on important issues and events, including those of interest to Canadians. *Also suitable for research at the high school and undergraduate levels. 

  • A comprehensive Canadian career guide providing detailed listings of 550 occupations, including education and training information.

  • Enjoy unlimited arts and crafts project suggestions, workshops & techniques by top designers and artists via streaming video.
