Each summer, Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQIA+  community comes together alongside family, friends and allies to celebrate diversity, belonging, and living their authentic lives, and to appreciate the progress made towards realizing equity and understanding.

The Poet Laureate of the City of Vancouver is a champion for poetry, language and the arts and creates a unique artistic legacy through public readings and civic interactions.

Our writer in residence program promotes Canadian writing and literature through the creation of new work, mentorship of emerging writers, and various workshops and activities.

This is a unique day camp that connects youth who are passionate about reading and writing with well-known authors and illustrators.
